About our Allotments

Armley Ridge Road Allotment Association is a self-managed allotment site consisting of 49 plots of various sizes.

The site itself is owned by Leeds City Council but run by our committee on a self-administered basis.

New members are always welcome. Enthusiasm about gardening is the only requirement!

The plots are available for rent via a waiting list – if you are interested in renting one then please contact us and we’ll be in touch with more info about how to go about it.

Allotment Shop

There’s a small shop on the site (open to members only).

Opening hours are 9.30-11.00am.

It stocks compost, weed membrane, fertilisers and plant foods and from about March onwards a variety of seed potatoes.

Please take advantage of the shop – we offer competitive prices and fantastic quality and compare favourably to the Garden Centres/DIY Sheds.

Kings Seed Catalogues

These are available from the shop from September (ish) – we encorage members to take advantage of these as we receive a good discount for orders placed via the association – please grab a catlogue from the shop and get your orders and payment in via the shop a week or so before the AGM.
